ELABORATION OF A PLANTAR INSOLE WITH ROVAL GEL On the top of a negative plaster mould, obtained in discharge, or positive -if obtained in charge-, “Roval gel” is applied directly on its surface not leaving any empty cavity. The existent cavities (lateral and medial arch’s) must be completely filled, so when the process is finished the superior part (being the mould the other way round) has the same height. Either forefoot or rear foot must have a minimum thickness of 2 or 3 mm., keeping an uniform surface, and height, between them. It must be drying during 48 hours –the drying occurs spontaneously at the touch with the air-. It unsticks easily from the mould as it does not adhere to the mould. Once it has been separated, the unnecessary (extra) material can be cut with scissors and it must be polished for giving its final shape according to each case. Finally, it can be lined with another material. Any kind of contact or impact glue can be used. The proper lining is Roval Foam 2, 3 or 5 mm. It is only necessary to line the superior surface of the insole. It is advisable to use the Roval Gel insole before the eight following days to its elaboration, avoiding the normal retraction of the latex material while not having charge. Its indications are: Specialty designed for diabetics, rheumatics, vascular feet… being Roval Foam the ideal complement for those cases. You can personify your insoles by colouring them just adding fluid dyeing, like the ones used in the painting of the walls. As they are lined there are not allergic problems.
